Milutis Films is run by Tara Milutis – an American filmmaker, journalist and multimedia producer based between Bangkok, Istanbul and New York. Specializing in documentaries, news, and video content for the aid and development sector, she also has over a decade of experience working in television, feature film and commercial video production.  She has an extensive network of crew, fixers, translators, animators and composers in Asia, Europe and the U.S. and has produced, directed and shot a diverse variety of video projects across the globe. As a video journalist she covered the 2014 political crisis and coup d'état in Thailand, and continues to shoot political, human rights and human interest stories around the world -  her work having been published by the Economist, the Atlantic and others.  Her recent film for UN Women on a domestic migrant worker in Bangkok screened at the UN General Assembly in New York for the first-ever summit for refugees and migrants.  She's a graduate of the Tisch School of the Arts at New York University.
